Manufacturer Service Center
NWFA offers services targeted to each of its member segments in order to support an efficient and educated supply chain. NWFA’s most important manufacturer services include:
The NWFA/NOFMA Standards for Factory-Finished Wood Flooring compliment the long-standing tradition of the NWFA/NOFMA Unfinished Wood Flooring Standards, historically referenced by architects and designers. The standards also provide the criteria for NWFA/NOFMA certification, which entitles the wood flooring manufacturer to licensing for the logo and annual mill inspections for ongoing third-party quality control.
Several NWFA-member manufacturers have revised their installation guidelines to include a recommendation to use NWFA Certified Professionals when installing their wood flooring products. Minimize claims by ensuring your products are installed by Certified Professionals.
The NWFA Accepted Product Seal program was developed to identify wood flooring and wood flooring products that meet or exceed established industry standards. This program is open to NWFA manufacturer members who meet the criteria.
NWFA Services Product Support Center provides wood flooring manufacturers with a way to outsource or increase their customer service. Our call center technicians are trained industry professionals who advise callers according to the NWFA Installation Guidelines. When you enter the program, technicians are also trained on your own installation and product guidelines, providing support for your specific product. Warranty and product replacement claims are referred to the manufacturer.
The RPP shows the marketplace your true environmental commitment. By providing a tangible measurement, manufacturers can avoid greenwashing and simply prove that their products come from renewable sources. Developed by leading manufacturers, the Forest Stewardship Council, Scientific Certification Systems, and the Rain Forest Alliance, the RPP and its logo provide manufacturers with an important and distinguished competitive edge.
